contact us The Newton Tree Conservancy, a non-profit organization formed in 2008 in Newton Massachusetts, works to promote the health, beauty, and longevity of Newton's urban forest, in particular its public trees (those in parks and bordering streets and public buildings). We do this by raising community awareness of the urban forest's importance to our environment and quality of life, of issues affecting Newton's trees, and of the need for broad-based private funding and support to enhance Newton's tree programs.
The Newton Tree Conservancy seeks to maintain the health of Newton's existing trees, and to plant and nurture many new street and park trees for the benefit of future generations. We welcome you to get involved in our community forestry programs and events, and to support the Newton Tree Conservancy efforts.
